When Technology Doesn't Work For You...

One day, you decided to re-organized your inbox with folders and rules. Next thing you know, you missed important e-mails and notes. It's not necessarily because the technology was not working for you. Most of the time, it was because you didn't know how to use the technology well. When that happens, simply go back and make changes until everything really works for you.

We sometimes take technology for granted that we forget to be responsible human beings. We sometimes use our reliance on a technology as our excuse for our own failures. Although it is alright to make sure we make the technology work for us, we should never forget that we are still responsible for the outcome.

Don't let technology take control of you. You should always be in control. Let technology serve you right. If something is wrong, fix it. If you're wrong, fix yourself. It is important to always assess the effect of how you are using a technology. Worst case is when you are doing it all wrong and then it becomes too late to fix the result.
