Apple MacBook Air Is A Beautiful Beast

Did you ever wish your notebook is thinner, lighter, powerful AND cheaper? Then the Macbook Air is for you!

Actually, to say that an Apple product is "cheaper" comes in as a surprise. Compared to a netbook, the MacBook Air is actually more expensive. However, with specs that could match a notebook, the 2010 release of MacBook Air becomes an attractive and competitive piece starting at $999. This price is rare for a product that can truly claim to be the slimmest, yet powerful, laptop.

The engineering put into the MacBook Air is quite impressive. What I really like about MacBook Air is the solid state design, available in 64GB to 128GB flash drive configuration options. Apple specs sheet for MacBook Air promises claims a longer battery life of up to 5 hours active wireless productivity and up to 30 hours on stand by. The monitor is an HD LED backlit widescreen display powered by an NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics processor with 256MB of DDR3 SDRAM shared with main memory, which can be 2GB or 4GB. The entire device boasts of an Intel Core 2 Duo processor. All of these are packed in a slim 0.11 - 0.68" tapered body. The MacBook Air is truly an engineering feat!

Apple MacBook Air is ultra-slim beautiful! It's thin, it's light and it's cheap (compared to other "ultra-slim" notebooks)! This year's MacBook Air is one of the most exciting products released for the 2010 holidays. The overall design and engineering put in to it allowed Apple to create a beast that could beat any notebook in the same ultra-slim design class.

Unfortunately, I'm a Windows nut! So I wonder if I should switch? Hmmm...
